Instructions
- Pour the milk into a saucepan.
- Add the sugar, turmeric powder, cinnamon powder, ginger powder, cardamom powder, and nutmeg powder. Whisk it all together in the milk and make sure there are no lumps of spices in the milk.
- Boil the milk and then reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure the spices are well incorporated.
- If using cream, you can add it now. For plant-based option, you can use coconut cream for extra creaminess.
- If you want, you may strain the milk through a fine sieve to remove any coarse spice particles. Serve warm in your favorite mug.
